The Avan Club of Australia Inc. is a national organisation for the owners of ‘A-shaped’ folding camper vans manufactured by A’van Campers Australia Ltd. The club was started in May 1999 in a home garage in Melbourne, and there are now over 1,600 members from all parts of Australia.
The main purpose of the Club is to establish and encourage friendship amongst people who own an ‘A-shaped’ camper, and to share ideas with others who have a common interest. This is being done very successfully by annual national gatherings and through regular weekend gatherings of members in their own areas.
