\"\"How to join the A’van Club of Australia:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nAny person who is an owner of an A-shaped folding<\/em> camper manufactured by A’van Campers Pty Ltd may make application to become a member of the A’van Club<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Information & Club Policy<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Club was initiated in Feb, 1999 following discussions with Jeff Van Baardwyk of A\u2019van Campers Pty Ltd. Jeff was most supportive of the Club concept and paid for the first mail-out to ascertain interest in forming a club.<\/span><\/p>\n

Owners got together in Melbourne in March 1999, following the mail-out to all known A\u2019van owners around Australia. The response was overwhelming!<\/span><\/p>\n

It was obvious that ‘A\u2019vanners’ all over the country not only loved their vans, but realized they had something quite unique \u2013 judging by the interest they created wherever they went!<\/span><\/p>\n

It also became obvious that because of the\u00a0unique A-shaped design\u00a0<\/strong>of their A\u2019van folding camper, owners wanted to be able to share experiences, pass on hints and tips and get to know other A\u2019van folding camper owners around our great land.<\/span><\/p>\n

Only two months after the initial mail-out the\u00a0A\u2019van Club of Australia Inc.<\/strong>\u00a0was formalized.<\/span><\/p>\n

We look forward to welcoming you to the A\u2019van Club family of around 1000 members A’vans (approx. 1700+ people) from all States of Australia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Main purpose of the Club is to \u2026.<\/strong><\/span>
\nShare ideas of common and mutual benefit.<\/span>
\nEncourage co-operation and friendship amongst people interested in<\/span>
\nA-shaped A\u2019van folding campers.<\/strong><\/span>
\nCollaborate with similar clubs and organizations.<\/span>
\nProvide and publish from funds a twice yearly newsletter \u2013\u00a0‘The A\u2019vanner’.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

What we don\u2019t do!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Club is not a forum for individual complaints \u2013 any concerns should be taken up directly with the agents or A\u2019van Campers Pty Ltd.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Club Rules and Policies\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Club has registered Model Rules with Consumer Affairs Victoria under the Associations Incorporation Reform Regulations 2012. These rules are available on the Club website.<\/span>

Pet Policy <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe policy of the A\u2019van Club of Australia Inc. is that when attending Gatherings pets of any kind should not be included at any food times at all, i.e. morning teas, happy hours, shared meals etc.\u201d<\/span>

Membership<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Club membership is open to owners of all ‘A’ shaped folding campers Manufactured by A\u2019van Campers Pty Ltd.<\/span><\/p>\n

Joining cost<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

$15<\/strong> joining fee, plus $30<\/strong> annual subscription.
\nAnnual subscriptions are all due March 31st<\/sup>.<\/strong>
\nPlease read the below Letter, explaining the membership Year.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Membership Welcome Pack and Membership Badge<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    A welcome pack will be sent as soon as possible after receiving your application and payment. Name badges are printed monthly and posted to new members as soon as possible after they join. At times there may be a delay due to the volunteer members who process the Membership application and name badges being on the road in their A\u2019van. So please be patient, the welcome pack and badges will eventually arrive.<\/span><\/p>\n
